My names Ffion, and I'm a photographer.
Ffion is currently studying for a degree on the BA (Hons) Photography for Fashion & Advertising course at Caerleon, University of Wales - Newport.
Her main interests’ are in portraiture/fashion/landscapes.
She has worked alongside artists at Tactile Bosch and has contributed in two exhibitions, most recently at Nos Da, Riverside, Cardiff.
She is also one of the members of Hack Flash, a Cardiff based community project who founded We are Cardiff - a story-based project where the people of Cardiff can write of their experience of the city, whether in poem, story or essay form. Ffion is one of the official photographers for We are Cardiff, photographing people who take part in the project as editorial portraits. She has exhibited her folio of work at the Big Little City exhibition that ran from May to August 2011 at the Cardiff Story, Old Library, Hayes, Cardiff. This work was also exhibited at the Pierhead at Cardiff Bay, in September 2011.
Ffion has also worked with the Cardiff Arts Institute and their magazine in which she took photographs and wrote an article highlighting the businesses and people who occupy Cardiff markets - working closely alongside local community groups.
Ffion seeks inspiration from the people, landscape and culture of Wales, and the Capital city, which she now calls ‘home’.
